Land Acknowledgement

In the spirit of reconciliation, I acknowledge that it is a privilege and an honour to live, work, and create on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional gathering place for diverse Indigenous peoples including the Cree, Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Ojibway/ Saulteaux/Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to influence our vibrant community—who have lived on, cared for, and travelled this land for centuries.

The cultures and histories of the Indigenous Peoples of this land continue to enrich our community and help us go forward in truth and collaboration on our reconciliation journey.

The land, water, plants, and animals continue to be impacted by the lasting effects of colonization and the displacement of Indigenous stewardship. As an uninvited guest on this land, I hold a deep sense of responsibility to engage in respect, reciprocity, and relationship—and I commit to doing my best to live and work in alignment with these values.

At BeeVee Professional Services we are lifelong learners of Truth and Reconciliation and strive to practice decolonization.
